Monsieur Big is my favorite out of the group because it provides voluminous lashes, length, and an overall dramatic look. The mascara is all in one. It’s at a higher price than a typical drugstore product, but it’s worth the splurge. The applicator has many fibers and is thick. The product grabs onto your lashes as you apply it. The formula is comfortable to wear even if you have contacts. There is zero transfer upon application and no flakiness. Monsieur Big is a winner in my book!
Lash Sensational Sky High by Maybelline
Although Lash Sensational Sky High mascara does produce some volume, the product’s real strength is lengthening eyelashes. This mascara is at a fantastic price point and can easily be purchased at your nearest drugstore. The wand flexes easily, and the bristles are made of tiny plastic strands. The brush is designed to grab and coat every lash. It is a wonderful mascara, and there is a bit of getting used to with the brush. This mascara does not transfer to the skin upon application and is long-wearing.
Roller Lash by Benefits
Roller Lash mascara is eye-opening. The applicator and brush help to curl the lashes and lift them. This mascara is more lengthening and lifting than a volumizer. You will notice a difference in your lashes after applying the product. The applicator is curved and made of tiny plastic bristles. Multiple applications of the product contribute to the length and lift. I have a little transfer with the product on occasion. It is also at a higher price point than your typical drug store mascara. If you need to lift and lengthen your lashes, look no further!
All-In-One Think Big by BeautyCounter
All-In-One Think Big mascara is developed using a clean formula that lengthens and volumizes lashes. It also conditions and strengthens your lashes with tripeptides and provitamin B5. You will notice a dramatic effect upon application. The wand has many fibrous bristles that coats the lashes evenly. This mascara will transfer, so you have to be mindful of the potential for transfer on application. It is also the most expensive out of the group.
Voluminous by L’Oreal -Honorable Mention
Voluminous mascara has been a tried and true product for many years. It is incredibly inexpensive and found at many retailers. It provides length and definition to the lashes without clumping or flaking. The applicator has fibrous bristles that easily coat the lashes. You can’t go wrong with the price and the quality of the product.
