Many of us damage our hair weekly and even daily. Regardless of your hair type, these three miracle hair repair creams work! If you are prone to coloring your hair, styling with heat, teasing your hair, tying with bands, then you can benefit from a hair treatment.
Currently, I am in the process of getting my curls healthy after straightening them with heat. Hair treatments are especially necessary when styling with high heat.
I have tried so many treatments over the years, but I always come back to these top three. Briogeo, Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask, Ouidad’s Melt-Down Extreme Repair Mask and Shea Moisture’s Manuka Honey and Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Protein Power Treatment. I don’t have a favorite one because I like all three for different reason. I will explain why I like each one and the benefits.
Shea Moisture’s Manuka Honey and Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Protein Power Treatment is thicker than most and very reasonably priced. It is loaded with butters and proteins to revitalize hair. The treatment leaves your hair well moisturized and balanced. This product has a clean smell and definitely reduces hair breakage. This was the first treatment that I felt really did it’s job. Since I have fine hair, I do not use it as often as the others due to the butters. Regardless, it is definitely in my rotation and I will purchase again.
Ouidad’s Melt-Down Extreme Repair Mask is an intensive deep conditioner with a luxurious feel to it. It is creamy with the right amount of slip which makes it easy to distribute through the hair. It has a heavenly perfume smell that is not too scented. This deep conditioner does not contain protein. I use it often in the winter months and rotate it with other treatments that contain protein during the summer months. It can also be used after an intensive protein treatment. This is the most expensive treatment out of the three featured but it is so effective that it does not deter me from purchasing it. It’s worth it!
Briogeo’s, Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask is the mask that is consistently in my rotation. It is ultra creamy and has a slight rose smell. It is well balanced with protein and moisture and effective for fine, porous hair. The cream is priced in between the other two featured products. It comes in 8 fluid ounces and lasts a really long time. The treatment hydrates my curls and perks them up. The product is an Allure beauty winner and free of silicones, sulfates, parabens, dyes and so much more. Give this one a try!
The Hask Keratin Protein is my honorable mention product. It so effective and incredibly inexpensive that I had to list it. The Hask mask is an easy and affordable way to give your hair a dose of protein. You can find this in many grocery stores and at Target.
You cannot go wrong with any of the products. I like to rotate my treatments depending on the needs of my hair so that is why I use all of them. These products are all spectacular and super effective for heat styled and colored treated hair. They certainly work to repair and add shine to the hair. I am quite certain they will do the same for you. Don’t wait to purchase. Click the photo to be directed to the shop-able link!
